This Poor Dog Called 'Werewolf' By Everyone But No One Stopped There To Help Him
January 3, 2023
He lived by the side of the road and had a skeletal physique, a nubby pink tail, and the appearance of a frightening, odd, old werewolf.
Everyone in the vicinity of the orchard in Madera Ranchos, California, didn’t appear to care what type of animal he was, or even if they did, they weren’t eager to assist.

That is until a woman noticed him and posted a pleading message on Facebook. Dog rescuer Megan Bowe responded after dog owner YB Rivlores uploaded several pictures of the animal.
The owner of Bowe’s Adoptable Rescue Pups could tell from the images that the German Shepherd was near death, but she didn’t realize how terrible he was until she got there to save him.

He struggled to even stand. He was malnourished, and his fur was falling out.
King was only around a year old when she hurried him to the veterinarian. He had suffered a broken pelvis months previously.

“A few months ago, we had a pelvic fracture. Incorrectly, Megan claimed on Facebook, “Bones are healing.
She got to work putting this hurt dog back together. He was placed on a particular feeding schedule and in quarantine so as not to contaminate the other canines.

He had surgery when he was strong enough, and everything went smoothly.
To strengthen King’s hind leg, the veterinarian advised Megan to walk him daily.

King has made significant progress since Megan initially saved him, which has been roughly one and a half months ago.
His hair is growing back, and he enjoys getting goodies, going on car rides, and experimenting with his new dog bed.

The fact that a Good Samaritan intervened to save him when she noticed him and that Megan saved him makes the youngster very happy. He has a promising future ahead of him because of her.
