Sick Puppy Was Going To Die but One Man Rescue Him And Saw Her Present Photo

January 4, 2023

Hello, Peanut. The Pit Bull hybrid dog was extremely ill and in need of assistance when she was sent to an Arizona shelter.

When Peanut arrived at the Willcox Animal Shelter, Nadine Sipos Swart was there and found that if no one came up to help, the poor dog would be put down.

Nadine, an Arizonan champion for stray animals, took pictures of Peanut and every animal in the shelter that day and shared them on Facebook. The following is what Nadine told DogHeirs.com happened:

“I was informed by the shelter that if they couldn’t find this 5-month-old pit bull puppy home, they would have to put her to sleep. She wasn’t in good shape. Awful She had Demodex manage, which made her quite ill.

After Peanut’s photo was posted to Facebook, it received more than 27,000 views. I was stunned,” Nadine wrote. “But things improve. This image was seen by the one individual who was prepared to intervene and save her thanks to well over 250 shares.

“On March 15, Joshua Cummings’ tears from when he first saw her photo transformed into tears of happiness when they first met. This dog was driven to California by Kelly at the shelter, where Josh met her.

That is what networking is capable of. Nadine wrote that Josh gave my daughter Peanut’s name for this little Pit. “It’s precisely who she is so I couldn’t be happier about that. An adorable tiny Peanut

Following were several months of medicinal baths, specialized food, and plenty of gentle loving care. Peanut’s condition improved gradually but steadily.

In her note, Nadine said, “That sick puppy who had been sitting in the corner of her kennel with her head down is now playing with her brothers and is delighted to be alive.”

These before and after pictures demonstrate what an incredible journey Peanut has been on!

Nadine exclaimed, “I am overjoyed for this little girl. “It only took a few people to see past her condition and see a lovely infant, but Josh was the only one who did. As a hero, he is.

What happens when you give a shelter dog a chance is illustrated beautifully by Peanut!

Peanut is one lucky and content puppy thanks to Josh and his wife’s caring love and cares for him.
