Sick Stray Puppy Was So Happy After Seeing Firefighter Whox Saved Her Life
January 4, 2023
This reunion is the sweetest thing ever! Firefighter Mike Thawley visited the neighborhood animal shelter after rescuing a Pit Bull puppy.
Mike works for Sacramento, California’s Fire Station 14. He saved the ailing dog when he discovered her chained up in the rain. He washed her up and then took her to the Front Street Animal Shelter for care and medical attention.
He paid her a visit the next day, and as you can see in the video below, she was really appreciative.
Chunkie, the small dog, instantly knows her rescuer, wags her tail, and begs Mike to pet her. While Chunkie is getting better from mange, Mike lifts her up in his arms and puts a sweet pink jumper on her. She wants to pursue him when he runs away from her.
See the charming scene in the video below:
But Mike wasn’t through aiding his new pal.
Chunkie will be fostered by Mike, his wife Carla, and their three daughters while she receives treatment for a non-contagious form of mange, and they will eventually adopt her permanently.
According to Thawley, “We all just kind of fell in love with her.”
Mike claimed that the family had known Chunkie was a member of the family from the beginning of her foster care.
Do you agree that THIS is a tale worth telling?
